CTDI offers a variety of services and support to the telecommunications industry.
The company already has operations in South Bend. CTDI says it will invest about $5 million for improvements to a 700,000-square-foot building in the commerce center. Another $15 million will go towards machinery and equipment.
“We’re very excited that CTDI chose River Ridge for their facility,” said Jerry Acy, executive director with River Ridge Development Authority. “Their investment here marks a commitment to the region and its workforce, and another milestone in the continued success of River Ridge and southern Indiana.”
Acy says CTDI will be eligible for tax benefits via the River Ridge Urban Enterprise Zone, which will allow it to phase in property taxes over time. The Indiana Economic Development Corp. has offered the company about $12 million in tax credits, which is based on job creation plans.
