Amazon says it will be adding more than 3,000 positions in the Indianapolis area as the e-commerce giant continues to open new fulfillment centers. Amazon has opened several new delivery stations in Indiana this year and will open two more buildings this month.

Nationally, the company is looking to hire 125,000 employees. It will hold a virtual career day Wednesday to help fill some of the positions, which are both full and part time.

The company says roles in fulfillment and transportation offer an average starting wage of more than $18 per hour. The company says full-time employees receive comprehensive benefits from day one, including health, vision, and dental insurance.
