The Knox County Development Corp. has formed the Knox Life – Community Improvement Team. The organization says the newly-formed Knox Life initiative aims to support workforce and talent attraction.

The initiative is chaired by local businessman Shepard Dunn.

”Recognizing that we already live in an outstanding community, our job will be to look for ways we can
make it even better,” said Dunn. “Attracting new residents, families, and workers should be amongst our top priorities.”

The committee was initiated to generate fresh ideas and conversation related to quality of place and opportunity throughout the county. According to the organization, the group intends to identify projects that will benefit people, the physical environment, and economic priorities.

Knox Life – CIT says it will soon begin surveying the community to assist in generating ideas, and will use the data to inform its next steps.
