“We are so fortunate to work with great communities in the heartland of our nation, and now with communities in the Caribbean,” Joel Markland, president of BCA/BCA Caribe said. “BCA is a relationship company. We are invested in the communities with whom we work. It is critically important that we know and understand our clients and their needs.”
BCA Caribe says it serves communities throughout Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands by securing grant funds to address contaminated properties that are hindering economic growth and prosperity in areas where redevelopment is most needed.
“Hurricane recovery will take a decade or more in the Caribbean,” Markland explained. “We are excited and proud to be a part of the recovery by helping return blighted, environmentally impaired properties to reuse that create sustainable development, jobs, and healthy, safe communities within which to live, work, and play.”
After funding is secured, BCA says it will assist communities to investigate and cleanup contaminants on properties, helping them to be redeveloped.
