Hamilton Exhibits has launched a line of scalable structures and safety dividers.
The company says it used its custom design experience with healthcare clients to create safety barriers.
“We conducted broad outreach to state and local government officials, as well as hospital CEOs and those engaged in planning and distribution of the new COVID-19 vaccines,” said Dan Cantor, chief executive officer of Hamilton Exhibits. “As a result, our new Support and Safety Solutions Group is prepared to positively address vaccine administration issues and planning on a variety of levels.”
Cantor says the systems can be quickly set-up and taken down. He says the structures provide privacy, quick sanitation, and customizable patient post-vaccine monitoring.
As the U.S. plans to administer a COVID-19 vaccine on a broad scale, Cantor says the structures can be quickly designed and built to support healthcare professionals, medical technicians and pharmacists facing the task of administering “dozens, even hundreds of vaccines per day.”
The company says the dividers can be scaled to be used in gymnasium or arena settings as well as smaller, individual pharmacies.
A similar system is used by schools in four states to create a temporary quarantine room.
Cantor appeared on Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick in July to discuss how the family-owned business shifted from making convention displays to healthcare “distancing solutions” as the healthcare crisis unfolded.
