ActiveCampaign, which provides a customer experience automation platform and has an office in Indianapolis, has raised $100 million in Series B funding.
The funding round was led by Susquehanna Growth Equity with participation from Silversmith Capital Partners, the sole investor in the ActiveCampaign’s Series A round in 2016. The company says it will use the funding to further develop its CXA platform “through product innovations that advance beyond legacy marketing automation, traditional CRM, and service technology.”
“Customer Experience makes or breaks a business, and we’re proud to be the critical piece that helps growing companies find success through CXA as they scale,” said Jason VandeBoom, founder and chief executive officer of ActiveCampaign. “This additional capital gives us the flexibility to continue to quickly adapt to our customers’ needs in a very dynamic market while remaining focused on long-term investments in our core platform. I have built a relationship with SGE over the last 3 years and knew this was the right fit.”
ActiveCampaign opened its office on Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis in January 2019 and just a month later, announced plans to invest $10 million to expand its Indy presence. The company employs a total of more than 550 people and also has offices in Ireland and Australia, as well as a presence in Brazil.
