Governor Eric Holcomb, U.S. Senator Todd Young (R-IN) and others took part in a renaming ceremony and ribbon cutting for the Indiana Dunes National Park, which is already the seventh most-visited national park in the country.
The Indiana Dunes officially became a national park in February after President Donald Trump signed House Joint Resolution 31. The resolution also changed the name of the Miller Woods Trail to the Paul H. Douglas Trail.
