The Purdue University Online Writing Lab and Chegg Inc. (NYSE: CHGG) today announced a partnership to merge Chegg’s Writing tools with Purdue University’s OWL content. The agreement will provide more online writing resources in a variety of styles to students around the world.

 Chegg currently provides more than 30 million students with AI-driven technology to help with citations, grammar and writing improvements, and accidental plagiarism prevention. Purdue OWL and Chegg plan to combine resources and extend their reach.

Chegg’s writing tools will now integrate OWL’s rules and standards. Students can virtually upload their documents and receive AI-enabled instant feedback on grammar, spelling, and mechanics. They may also access resources from the OWL on any aspect of writing and at any stage of its development.
