The Dye family has announced a "celebration of life" service for "first lady of golf course design" Alice Dye, who passed away Friday at the age of 91. Pete and Alice Dye created more than 150 golf courses. The service is set for May in Carmel.

Last year, the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis opened four miniature golf courses designed by and inspired by the Dyes’ work, called the Pete and Alice Dye Golf Experience, at the Riley Children’s Health Sports Legends Experience. The exhibit highlights the following Dye creations:

•             Tournament Players Club at Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra, Florida 

•             Harbour Town Golf Links & The Ocean Course  — both in South Carolina

•             Whistling Straits, Kohler, Wisconsin

•             The Brickyard Crossing in Indianapolis

Dye is also honored alongside her husband with a life-sized bronze statue along the Old National Bank Sports Legends Avenue of Champions. 

The Dye family has announced a Celebration of Life Service for Alice Dye on May 29, 2-4 p.m.at Crooked Stick Golf Club.
