IU Health launches ‘All The Difference’ campaign in west central Indiana

IU Health Foundation has launched its “All the Difference: The Campaign for Indiana’s Health” in west central Indiana. The campaign supports a multi-pronged approach to make Indiana one of the healthiest states in the country and is part of a statewide fundraising effort. The campaign will fund IU Health hospital-based initiatives to help Hoosiers avoid and treat illness and injury. Gary Community School Corp. reaches financial stability, regains local control

The Distressed Unit Appeal Board (DUAB) has unanimously approved a resolution to dissolve state oversight of the Gary Community School Corporation, effective July 1. This marks the end of the district’s seven-year designation as a distressed political subdivision. Under Senate Enrolled Act 567, the school district was designated as a distressed unit due to an operating budget deficit that exceeded $20 million in 2017.... Read More

Protein Bar & Kitchen to open its first Indiana franchise

Chicago-based Protein Bar & Kitchen will open its first-ever multi-unit franchise in Indiana. The  initial location in Crown Point, set to open in July, will feature the brand’s first drive-through. The franchisee, name withheld, was described as a seasoned multi-brand and multi-unit restaurant franchisee.
