The ZGA leads to the town’s historic Village Business District.
The town has hired strategic planning and consulting firm Thomas P. Miller and Associates and architectural and brand strategy firm DELV Design to facilitate the process.
The meeting is scheduled for October 1 at the Farm Bureau Community Building at the Boone County 4-H Fairgrounds in Lebanon.
“I look forward to guiding our community through this process,” said Mayor Emily Styron. “The Listening Session is a vital step in the process of planning for the next stage of our town’s identity.”
Due to social distancing, the listening session will be limited to a certain number of in-person visitors. Zionsville also intends to have an online version, allowing residents to attend virtually.
In July, the town began the first stage of the Zionsville Gateway Area project with the demolition of the PNC bank building and locksmith shop at the northwest corner of Main and Sycamore Streets.
