Subscribe NowThe Youth Opportunity Center has named Suahil Housholder controller for the Muncie-based youth treatment facility. She has more than 20 years of experience working with finances and accounting in a business setting. Housholder has acted as a director and supervisor of books and budgets for a variety of companies, industries and projects.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting, as well as a Master of Business Administration Degree from Anderson University. Housholder is also a Certified Public Accountant. She began her career in various financial roles in the Cayman Islands where she lived until 2003 when she returned to Indiana. In 2006, she returned to her Alma Mater, Anderson University, where she worked in various roles and offices around the university, including serving as controller.
In her new role, Housholder will assist the chief financial officer with any financial and accounting needs of the multi-million dollar non-for-profit organization, including, but not limited to: preparing and reviewing monthly financials, maintaining the organizations cost-report budget, and assisting with the annual audit.
