The Northwest Indiana Workforce Board is hosting a five-day event aiming to help veterans who are looking for career opportunities in the civilian work force. The organization says next week’s Veteran Employment Transition Seminar will include individual coaching, small group workshops and training sessions.

The seminar will run November 16-20 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at WorkOne in Hammond. The organization says training will be led by work force development professionals, many of whom are veterans.

NWIWB says veterans, their spouses, members of the Indiana National Guard or Reserve and military caregivers are all invited to register for the seminar.
