White River State Park in downtown Indianapolis has been nominated by USA Today as a top contender for Best City Park in its 2021 10Best Readers’ Choice Travel Awards. The winners will be unveiled in February.

The park says this year’s 10 Best Reader’s Choice Contest gives people the opportunity to vote for their favorite parks. Votes can be made one time per day through February 15.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be considered in this year’s contest for Best City Park,” said Carolene Mays-Medley, executive director of White River State Park Development Commission. “We continue to strive towards making White River State Park one that feels like home for everyone. From our events and concerts, to our attractions, to our lovely greenspaces and waterways, we hope that everyone is able to find something that meets his or her interests.”
