Carmel-based Indiana Farmers Mutual Insurance Co. is the latest business to partner with Indiana’s online university. WGU Indiana says the agreement provides the insurer’s employees with a five percent tuition discount.

The school says the discount is available for up to four academic terms for students pursuing their bachelor’s or master’s degrees. Tuition for most programs is $6,000 per year. WGU says it has not raised tuition since it was founded in 2010.

WGU says it is also awarding Back-to-School Scholarships. The school says, through October 31, new students will be eligible for scholarships worth up to $2,000 each.
