As part of West Central 2025, organizers have unveiled a website, logo and social media presence for the six-county initiative. Chamber Vice President Kristin Craig says the initiative will be under the chamber’s umbrella and representatives and advisory board members are still being sought.
Craig says "while the need for regionalism is sometimes hard to quantify, it does exist. We’re trying to bring these counties together in a new and collaborative way; in which we can become familiar with each other’s assets and engage in opportunities that could benefit any or all of our counties."
The chamber worked with Terre Haute-based RJL Solutions on the branding. The full scope of branding is slated to be rolled out early next year. West Central 2025 includes Clay, Parke, Putnam, Sullivan, Vermillion and Vigo counties. Jennifer Isbell-Scott of Vectren Energy and Rick Burger of Duke Energy serve as co-chairs.
