The Indiana Rural Water Association announced it has entered into an agreement to join and take the name of the Indiana section of the American Water Works Association.
The two organizations together will provide education, technical assistance and management insight to water and wastewater operators, utility boards, and municipalities.
“It will build on our strengths, allowing us to provide systems of all sizes with increased programming, training and technical assistance,” said John Seever, director of Indiana Section of the AWWA.
The agreement takes effect in February 2020.
