Waste & recycling company rebrands as Envita Solutions

The company said the new name represents their vision to better the planet and offer sustainable but complex waste management.
The name “Envita” comes as a combination of the word “environment” and “vita,” the Latin word for life.
“Our team is aligned around a clear strategy that enables us to evolve quickly in a growth environment,” Envita Solutions President Peter Lux said in a news release. “There’s vast potential in front of us – and we’re investing deeply in talent and doubling down on technology to provide innovative and efficient waste solutions that support our customers’ sustainability initiatives.”
The company said it has had a significant impact on diverting waste from landfills, including 700,000 tons diverted to be recycled last year. It also touts over 250 of its clients hosting zero-waste-to-landfill facilities.
Envita is headquartered in Indianapolis, employs over 300 employees and has partnerships with over 3,000 suppliers. It specializes in heavy construction materials, environmental services and specialty chemicals.
