The county said the survey is part of a feasibility study being conducted by the CIB regarding the potential impact of such amenities.
“As we look to the possibility of bringing added amenities to the community such as sporting and aquatic features, getting a thorough understanding of what the community wants and needs is an important part of the process,” Terre Haute Mayor and CIB President Duke Bennett said in written remarks.
The survey, which will be open through March 19, covers existing assets in the area, as well as the needs for additional venues and asks opinions on funding for such projects.

The final feasibility study, expected to be complete in May, will include a market analysis, business plan, space planning, concept design and cost analysis, according to the county.
