The event, which covers two weekends, features competitions ranging from parallel parking and golf chipping to distance running and cycling around the famed oval. In an interview with Inside INdiana Business, he said the ISC Corporate Challenge brings serves as an opportunity for in and out-of-office bonding. "It’s being active, it’s being engaged. It’s connecting with other companies from across the community, so it really becomes a nice connection point and a nice activity," he said.
The event is in its 22nd year and it is being held at IMS for the fourth time. Vaughn says holding events at the track is "a great draw" and is so big, "you can do just about anything you want to in there." Funds from the Corporate Challenge support the mission of the Indiana Sports Corp. Team prices are based on company size and teams can register online through the ISC website or at the event, which kicks off Saturday at 8 a.m.
