Indianapolis-based USA Track & Field has partnered with a Chicago recruitment firm to provide athletes and USATF members with recruiting services and education. The organization says the partnership with Next College Student Athlete will help athletes learn about opportunities to continue their competitive passions after high school.

NSCA, which bills itself as the largest NCAA-compliant athletic recruiting network, will educate USATF athletes and members about the recruiting process at all levels of collegiate competition. USATF says the deal includes live seminars for athletes, parents and coaches at the organization’s youth national championships.

"Track and field is one of the most popular sports for both high school men and women," said Lisa Strasman, president of NCSA. "Our new partnership (with) USATF will allow us to help more of these student-athletes discover their best path to college."

NCSA provides recruitment services for more than 30 collegiate sports throughout the country.
