The 64th Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals at Lucas Oil Raceway will determine the final spots in the National Hot Rod Association’s Countdown to the Championship. It will include four classes of racing: Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle.
Last year’s winners were Steve Torrence in Top Fuel, J.R. Todd in Funny Car, Drew Skillman in Pro Stock and Eddie Krawiec in Pro Stock Motorcycle. The NHRA says this year, three playoff spots are up for grabs. In addition to racing, the six-day event will include meet-and-greets, autograph sessions, opportunities to interact with legends of the sport, pit access and NHRA’s Nitro Alley and Manufacturers Midway.
