Our partners at WTHI-TV report the Vigo County Capital Improvement Board this week provided a project update.
The CIB says crews have started restoration work on adjacent streets, curbs and parking lots, warning of demolition work and street closures in the weeks ahead.
WTHI says the improvement board has approved a service agreement with Ohio-based Hilferty & Associates Inc, a museum design firm.
The firm would serve as part of a team for the planned Larry Bird Museum, which would play a key role in the convention center and a draw to downtown Terre Haute.
