Two public health organizations in Hamilton County are joining forces to focus on gaps in health coverage and well-being. Partnership for Healthy Hamilton County and Hamilton County Systems of Care announced they are merging.

The new organization will be known as A Healthier Hamilton County: Systems of Care. The organization says it will collaborate with all systems in the county that influence the health of residents, such as healthcare providers, government agencies, and nonprofits.

The organization says it will remain part of Indiana’s Systems of Care through the state Division of Mental Health and Addiction. It will also continue to operate the Hamilton County Youth and Family Alliance.
