Greenwood-based Jeff Air Pilot Services is responding by hosting a career fair Saturday at its facility at the Indy South Greenwood Airport.
“If we don’t see a shift, we could see a shortage of more than 60,000 pilots in the next few years which could be devastating to the travel industry as a whole,” said David Jeffries, owner of Jeff Air Pilot Services. “We want to help curb the flight cancellations, higher airfares and other headaches our country is facing, while also show students that they can build incredibly rewarding careers with great benefits and amazing opportunities in the world of aviation.”
Jeffries says the career fair will highlight its flight school program options. It will also offer representatives from a variety of airlines and military branches. The career fair will be hosted on Saturday from 9-4 p.m.
