Trine’s MTI Center to Host Mad Ants Game

Subscribe NowTrine University’s MTI Center will be showcased in a Fort Wayne Mad Ants regular season game next season. The NBA G League affiliate of the Pacers will host the Charlotte Hornets’ Greensboro Swarm December 30.
The $13.7 million MTI Center opened in January to host the university’s men’s and women’s basketball programs. Mad Ants President Tim Bawmann says team officials were impressed with the 3,500 seat arena.
"We got an opportunity to come up and look at this facility and bar none it’s the best one that we’ve seen and it’s the best option for us," Bawmann said. "This gives us an opportunity to come up to Trine, showcase the Fort Wayne Mad Ants and utilize this beautiful facility.
The contest will be the Mad Ants’ first home game played away from Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.
