Trine to invest $16M to expand science academic hall

Subscribe NowTrine University in Angola says it is investing $16 million to expand and equip one of its academic buildings to accommodate the school’s growing health sciences program. The 36,000-square-foot, three-story addition will add office space, classrooms and laboratories to the Best Hall of Science.
The school says the expansion will help accommodate growth in Trine’s Rinker-Ross School of Health Sciences, which is housed in the building. The school includes the university’s exercise science program enrolls more than 200 students.
The university expects to have the new section open by Fall 2023.
Trine recently announced it was partnering with Fort Wayne-based Parkview Health to build a 120,000-square-foot, $40 million facility near the health system’s main campus to allow for continued growth of its programs.
