Two sister agencies in the Indianapolis marketing space have merged. Tactic Marketing was acquired in 2013 by TrendyMinds Inc. Chief Executive Officer Trevor Yager, but the two have been kept as separate entities. Employees of the brand development and strategy-focused Tactic will all be part of TrendyMinds beginning January 1.

Yager says "over the past few years, the two companies have grown closer and closer together – both in expertise and the clients we serve. With the two companies cross-utilizing team members and resources, it only feels natural to formally merge." The company says the merger will streamline processes, increase efficiencies and narrow the focus on "growing one company and improving one set of service lines."

TrendyMinds was founded in 1995 and also includes Think Ahead Studio, a film production company launched by Yager two years ago.
