Toyota Material Handling Passes Milestone

The 1.5 million square-foot Columbus facility was the first in North America to produce Toyota forklifts, and has the capability to manufacture other industrial equipment, including three- and four-wheel electric forklifts and internal combustion cushion tire and pneumatic tire truck lifts.
“This milestone is a testament to the market’s demand for the quality and reliability of Toyota forklifts, and our unwavering commitment to serving our customers. This achievement was made possible by the tireless efforts of our world-class team of Toyota associates, dealers and suppliers. TMH Senior Vice President of Operations and Engineering Tony Miller says the company has become more vertically integrated.
