Tourism Program Awards Round of Grants

Subscribe NowTourism Gives, a Hamilton County Tourism Inc. program, is awarding more than $100,000 to community organizations this year. Hamilton County non-profits, arts development organizations and festivals are some of the recipients.
Hamilton County Tourism CEO Brenda Myers says the grant amounts are based on local tourism impact “These grant programs are designed to support nonprofit cultural, arts and sports organizations as they provide great programming for both residents and visitors. “They contribute to our quality of place in a significant way and provide for a quality visitor experience.”
Noblesville’s Logan Street Sanctuary, Conner Prairie, and 45 more organizations will receive funds this round. Conner Prairie will use the funds to expand their capacity to innovate a guest’s daily experience. Other projects supported this year include underwriting for the Nickel Plate Arts District, White River Regional Master Plan, and bicycle sharing stations in Westfield, Noblesville, and Carmel. Hamilton County Tourism has invested over $7 million in the community since 2006. For a complete list of organizations receiving funding this year, click here.
