Jim Schellinger says companies considering locating to Indiana look at the kind of factors considered by Pollina Corporate Real Estate Inc., including taxes, education and Right to Work.
The study is co-published with the American Economic Development Institute and it examines a total of 32 factors. Last year Indiana ranked 7th, which was up from 23rd in 2010.
Indiana bettered the states around it. Michigan was closest at 10th, Ohio was 20th and Kentucky was 28th.
