The team notched twenty-one sellouts, which helped drive the Minor League Baseball club to the second-highest average attendance among the 100 Single-A/Rookie teams.
The TinCaps, the Indianapolis Indians of the Triple-A and the South Bend Cubs, also of Single-A, all marked attendance records. The Indians announced last week they ranked number one in attendance in all of Minor League Baseball.
In eight seasons at Parkview Field, the team has attracted 400,000 or more fans seven times. The three-millionth fan in TinCaps history was celebrated earlier this season.
The TinCaps will begin the 2017 Midwest League season April 6 in Lansing against the Lugnuts. Their first home game will be the following night against the same team.
