The chassis was provided by Harbinger Motors, a manufacturer of medium-duty, commercial electric vehicle technology. Thor entered into a partnership with Harbinger in 2022 and was a lead investor in Harbinger’s recent Series A round of funding, according to a Wednesday news release from the Garden Grove, California-based company.
The chassis was delivered to Thor’s innovation lab in Elkhart, the news release said. The RV maker plans to use it in a Class A motorhome.
