The board of directors has begun its search to find her successor.
Gregerson, who will step down in September 2023, will help with the transition of the next CEO.
“The Farmers Bank is strong and growing, and we’re blessed with an extraordinary staff,” said Gregerson. “I’ve worked hard for the past four decades and I’m proud of what I’ve been able to accomplish with the help of so many skilled and caring colleagues. Now it’s time to focus my energy outside the bank. I know retirement marks a significant adjustment, but it’s an adjustment I’m excited to make.”
Gregerson has held the position since 2016. Prior to joining The Farmers Bank, she served as chief financial officer for STAR Financial Bank.
The Indiana Bankers Association honored Gregerson with its Woman of the Year award in 2020. She also serves as vice chair of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis.
