The 20 IN 20 Campaign received a platinum designation from the MarCom awards, which is administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.
The program’s goal was to encourage Hoosiers to visit different areas of the state by releasing 20 lists of 20 things to do throughout the year. Each list had a topical theme, such as ice cream shops, museums, and wineries.
The award was in the Strategic Communications/Communications/Public Relations category of Social Media.
“I am extremely proud of this team and their work on The 20 IN 20 campaign,” said Elaine Bedel, secretary and chief executive officer of the Indiana Destination Development Corp. “Winning a MarCom Award is highly sought-after, peer recognition from the creative industry.”
The MarCom Awards recognizes outstanding achievement by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design and production of marketing and communication materials and programs.
There were over 6,000 MarCom entries from throughout the United States, Canada and 39 other countries.
