Maschino is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Indiana Air National Guard and will be retiring in October after 35 years of service. He currently serves as chief of wing plans, execution and integration.
The airport said Maschino has had leading roles in many initiatives “to advance the airport and economic opportunities in the Wabash Valley.”
“The airport board is excited to see Craig bring his enthusiasm and passion for aviation to continue the growth of the airport,” Airport Board President Rick Burger said in a post on the airport’s Facebook page.
Maschino will begin his new role on Nov. 1 and work alongside Hauser for the remainder of the year.
No stranger to Terre Haute, Maschino is a graduate of Indiana State University where he earned a degree in aviation administration and a Master of Public Administration.
