(NYSE: TPX) is hosting a job fair Tuesday and Wednesday in Crawfordsville. The bedding products manufacturer is looking to fill up to 30 jobs for its recruitment and training center as it prepares for the opening of a 700,000-square-foot foam pouring manufacturing facility.
The recruitment and training center, set to open next month in Crawfordsville, will focus on training and skills development of the company’s foam products. The jobs will transition to the new plant once it is operational.
Tempur Sealy announced just over a year ago plans for the more than $138 million facility, which is expected to create about 300 jobs by the end of 2025. The plant is scheduled to open in early 2023.
The job fair is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday at 451 E. South Boulevard in Crawfordsville.
Some of the positions Tempur Sealy is looking to fill include general production, tool crib attendant, controls engineer and production manager.
The Crawfordsville plant will be Tempur Sealy’s fourth foam pouring manufacturing facility. The company said last year the facility will allow it to better serve customers in the northeast United States.
