TechPoint announced Tuesday it has selected Chelsea Linder to serve as vice president of innovation and entrepreneurship.
Linder most recently served as partner for Wisconsin-based venture capital firm and accelerator Gener8tor. During her tenure with the firm, Linder held multiple roles, including director of the gBETA Indy accelerator in Indianapolis.
“Today’s economic growth activities are increasingly driven by leaders with deep community relationships, learning and collaborative mindsets, and successful execution track records,” TechPoint President and CEO Ting Gootee said in a news release. “Chelsea has demonstrated all of that, in addition to her proven leadership in orchestrating programs and teams in multiple communities.
Prior to joining Gener8tor, Linder held multiple roles at The Heritage Group and Angie’s List in Indianapolis.
Linder said she has focused her career on driving economic development in Indiana by supporting the technology innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
“In order for Indiana to hold its place as a hub for entrepreneurship and innovation, we need to double down on the resources we’re providing to the community,” Linder said. “I’m looking forward to diving deeper into this work as I transition into my role at TechPoint.”
Linder will begin her new role on July 10.
