TCU insurance subsidiary sold

Subscribe NowTCU Insurance Agency, a subsidiary of South Bend-based Teachers Credit Union, has been acquired by PCF Insurance Services for an undisclosed amount. Peter Foy, CEO of the Utah-based firm, says the acquisition will expand PCF’s reach in the Midwest.
Rick Van Es, president of TCU Insurance, says the acquisition is something to be excited about.
“We can now offer our clients enhanced insurance options and risk management solutions, all while staying true to the personal service that has been our hallmark for the past 21 years,” Van Es said in a written statement.
TCU Insurance, which operates as an independent insurance agency, offers individual and business coverage plans to customers throughout Indiana and Michigan.
“PCF’s model is built around an ability to tap into our network of industry experience in a way that will allow each of our agencies to continue leading and expanding their respective capacities and product lines,” Foy said.
TCU Insurance operates office locations in Mishawaka, Elkhart, and Indianapolis, among others. TCU offers banking services at more than 50 locations throughout Indiana and southwest Michigan.
PCF did not specify if any jobs would be affected by the deal.
