Carmel-based SYM Financial Advisors has promoted Andy Popenfoose to chief investment officer. He previously worked at the Chicago office of Analysis Group. Popenfoose also lectured courses in investment and portfolio management at Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management and a Master of Science in Finance from Purdue University as well as a Master of Business Administration from Winthrop University. Popenfoose is an Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran and in 2014, earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
