Sweetwater Adding 1,000 Jobs

The company says it will invest more than $76 million to build and equip a new warehousing facility to house testing, photography, storage and other functions. The musical instrument and audio gear company says it will break ground on the expansion tomorrow, with plans to have it up and running by the summer of 2020.
Governor Eric Holcomb and Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry joined Sweetwater leaders for today’s announcement. According to our partners at WOWO radio in Fort Wayne, the company says it will be hiring for positions including logistics, sales, marketing, information technology and administration roles.
The announcement comes just weeks after the company said it would add more than 130 jobs at its Allen County distribution center. Those positions include equipment operators and shipping and receiving specialists.
