Study: Indiana employers ‘struggling’ less than other states in hiring

The 2023 “State Where Employers Are Struggling the Most in Hiring” report ranked Indiana as being the seventh least challenged state when it comes to filling openings.
The study compared the rate of job openings across 50 states and Washington D.C. in both the latest month and over the last 12 months.
In the latest month, Indiana’s job opening rate was 5.5%. That rate is slightly lower than last year at 6.03%, according to WalletHub.
States that fell below Indiana in the struggle rankings include Washington, California, Connecticut, New Jersey and New York, as well as Washington D.C.
