The initiative, designed to help veterans throughout the country find employment, training or housing, says more than 300 veterans moved to Indiana this year.
Additionally, more than 3,400 veteran profiles were created on the Next Level Veterans website. The initiative was launched in 2018 and INvets Executive Director Wes Wood says more than 315 employers throughout the state have signed onto the effort as part of their military recruitment efforts.
“As businesses resume operations after closure and reduced production due to COVID-19, more than 120,000 in-demand jobs are still available throughout Indiana,” Wood said in a news release. “The transitioning servicemember population is an ideal population to focus our attraction efforts on and INvets is here to provide an easy connection point.”
