The school says Dudich will oversee all aspects of the University’s financial administration in his new role.
“Jason is an enthusiastic problem-solver who has served the state with great skill and integrity,” Gov. Holcomb said in a news release. “I wish him continued success in his new role at the University of Indianapolis and thank him for helping us take Indiana to the next level.”
Dudich has served as the state budget director since 2017 after being appointed by Gov. Holcomb. During his time there, he oversaw the state’s $34 billion annual operating and capital budget, collaborating with Gov. Holcomb and staff, the Indiana General Assembly and state agency directors on fiscal policy, overall budget management and state policy issues.
Dudich developed, presented and managed one balanced budget and worked on a second.
He earned a bachelor of science in public financial management from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University, Bloomington.
Dudich will continue in his current role through the conclusion of the legislative session and depart the administration in mid-May. Gov. Holcomb will appoint a replacement in the near future.
