STAR Bank is growing in Indianapolis and Fort Wayne. Michal Mazur (pictured) has been named vice president, senior commercial banker. He joins the Fort Wayne team with more than 20 years of experience in diverse segments of banking including retail, commercial, corporate, trust, tax and wealth planning. Mazur earned a master’s in organizational leadership and a bachelor’s of science in business administration from Indiana Institute of Technology. He is master certified in both Human Six Sigma and Cash Flow Options. In 2011, Mazur and his wife founded the not-for-profit, Helping Hands, which aids those with serious illnesses and those with emergency medical needs.

Ronald Berry (pictured) joins the Indianapolis team as vice president, mortgage sales manager. He has more than 30 years of experience in financial services, having spent the last 14 years in mortgage. Berry holds a bachelor’s in operations and human resource management from Ball State University. His community involvement includes participation and volunteerism with the Hamilton County Humane Society and Habitat for Humanity. Berry is a member of the Indiana Mortgage Bankers Association.

The private banking team has added Jim Griest as vice president, private banking supervisor in Fort Wayne and Michael Quinn as vice president, private banker in Indianapolis.

Griest joins STAR with more than 32 years in banking, having spent the last 17 years in private banking. He attended Indiana University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Griest currently serves on the Metropolitan YMCA Board and has volunteered for the Parkview Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership, and Fort Wayne Rotary. He also served as past president for Warsaw Rotary.

Quinn joins STAR Financial with almost 30 years of experience in banking, having spent the last five years in financial literacy, customer service and sales. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in Indianapolis in 1993. Quinn serves on the board of the Phoenix Theatre and previously volunteered for Saint Mary Church.
