The Energy Assistance and Solar Savings Initiative provides free energy assessments and matching grants up to $30,000 for sustainability projects.
The city says organizations that participated in the program in 2022 can apply for funding for eligible projects identified in their energy assessment conducted last year.
“We are excited to launch a second year of EASSI and look forward to supporting new and returning organizations in achieving their sustainability goals,” said Sustainability Project Manager Alex Bazán.
In its first year, the program assisted 17 organizations and led to seven solar projects and 13 energy efficiency projects, with private investment totaling over $700,000.
Applications for the program are due by February 24. Click here to learn more.
