Smith Jones will join Marion County Health and Hospital Corp. as vice president of diversity and inclusion starting in September. Prior to assuming the role of deputy mayor, Smith Jones served as general counsel and director of policy and legislative affairs with the Indy Chamber. She has also served as director with the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency, deputy director of the Health Professions Bureau and director of the Medical Licensing Board of Indiana.
