Simon has promoted Michael Romstad to senior vice president – property management for its Mills platform. He has been with Simon nearly 20 years. Romstad served as mall manager at many key properties including Battlefield Mall in Springfield, Missouri and The Fashion Centre at Pentagon City in Arlington, Virginia. In 2003, he was promoted to regional vice president of Simon’s Mid-Atlantic mall region and oversaw four different regions, comprising more than 60 regional malls. Romstad has also served as the property management point person on 15 mall renovations. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Missouri State University with a major in criminal justice administration.
