SIA Foundation Awards $158K in Grants

Subscribe NowLafayette automaker Subaru of Indiana Automotive says 16 Indiana nonprofits in 11 counties were recently awarded grants totaling more than $158,000 from the SIA Foundation. The gifts range in size from approximately $1,500 to a maximum of $15,000 and are earmarked for arts and culture, health and welfare or education projects.
The organization presents grants twice a year.
Recipients for the fall grant cycle are:

- Center for Healing and Hope (Elkhart County) – $8,170
- Delaware County Historical Society (Delaware County) – $2,991
- Delphi Community High School (Carroll County) – $13,947.31
- Heartford House (Tippecanoe County) – $3,565
- Group Homes for Children (Tippecanoe County) – $14,816.94
- L & A Park Foundation (Carroll County) – $13,614.93
- LaCrosse Volunteer Fire Department (LaPorte County) – $14,414.65
- Lafayette Citizens Band (Tippecanoe County) – $13,456.59
- Learning Network of Clinton County (Clinton County) – $6,066.77
- Lewis Cass Schools (Cass County) – $14,991.92
- Matthew 25 (Allen County) – $8,170.75
- NICHES Land Trust (Tippecanoe County) – $13,669
- Orange County Community Development (Orange County) – $1,450
- South Newton High School (Newton County) – $9,548
- Town of Williamsport (Warren County) – $6,025
Since its launch in 1997, the SIA Foundation has awarded approximately $5 million in grants to nonprofit organizations.
