A growing national shoe store chain has consolidated its warehousing operations to a building at the River Ridge Commerce Center in Jeffersonville. Shoe Sensations Inc.’s 148,000 square-foot space combines three separate facilities and nearly doubles the company’s physical presence.

Chief Executive Officer Mike Zawoysky says "as we enter a new phase of growth with our new ownership, J.W. Childs Associates LP, we are excited to have our warehouse solution resolved and in place. Our new facility will provide us with the logistic infrastructure capabilities to support our goal of rapidly expanding our business over the next five years."

The Jeffersonville-based footwear retailer operates 124 stores in 17 states throughout the Midwest. Shoe Sensations says four dozen new locations have opened since 2013 and it plans to add 30-50 new stores a year over the next five years.
